2015 Morey-St Denis, Les Faconnières, 1er Cru, Lignier-Michelot, BurgundyVibrant purple, theres lots of joy here, with good density to this wine evident even on the nose, though without much detail yet. There is rich, dark fruit on the palate, with some black fruit notes here, but enough acidity behind. Aux Faconnires is one of the first to be picked so as to avoid too much richness. Drink 2022 2030. Jasper Morris MW, Wine Buyer Virgile Lignier began picking on 9th September, bringing in normal yields if a bit below 2014.
