Calibre 36 is TAG Heuer's designation for the Zenith El Primero, one of the great automatic chronograph movements ever made. It runs at 36,000 vibrations per hour where most movements run at 28,800, which is what lets the chronograph measure tenths of a second and gives the seconds hand its unusually smooth sweep.
